Just blowing off steam...an imposter picked up my winning GWG auction...
I just logged in to pay up on an auction I won earlier today...and the guy said the winner had already collected. Someone pretended to be me and the guy fell for it. Damn, that was a decent deal, too.
Guess some people aren't smart enough to check their email or the website for the true winner's IGN after an auction closes. The guy was PM'd and given a different IGN that would be closing the trade, but didn't think to verify. Just...blowing...off...steam. Meh, it's just a game. I'm off to get a beer... |
